Whether you are in the planning stage of holiday decorating, or like me have already begun, don’t miss the life like foliage found at Nearly Natural. In this post, I am featuring the 3′ Mini Cedar Pine Trees and like everything from Nearly Natural, these are impressive faux’s.
I don’t know if it’s because two of our children are grown and the baby is about to leave the nest, but my decorating has transitioned into simpler displays. One design trait I tend to stick with is the order of balance. I prefer to style larger objects like trees in pairs when they surround the main focal point, in this case the front door.
Thank you to Nearly Natural for gifting me these mini cedar pine trees. All opinions are 100% my own.
My front entry is always a little tricky, because of the single side light. If I had the chance to do it over, I would add a second on the opposing side. With the space on the right allowing more space, I chose to add a taller tree for added interest.
I have to admit, I expected to smell cedar pine when I opened these beauties up. They are so life like and once in the urns, they made a statement all their own. The cedar pine trees come already assembled in a planter which made for easy placement in the larger pots. They fit nicely inside the urns and fluffing the branches was a breeze. I added a little dirt for extra weight.
I hope this gives you a good visual of how realistic the branches are. And… they aren’t sticky or prickly.
Normally, I add pre-lit garland around the frame of the door, but this year I am leaning towards keeping things simple with these mini cedar pine trees and a wreath. As the holidays approach, I may change my mind and add some garland and lights on the trees for a more festive feel. I love the look of these cedar pine trees, because they will be able to stay put after Christmas is over while we ride the rest winter out.
I also want to add that I did try displaying one of these mini cedar pine trees on my console table. It proved to be a little large in that space. I also contemplated styling them by the fireplace, so maybe next year. That’s what’s so nice about a good faux, they carry over from year to year if stored properly. Heck, these could be left out all year round in my opinion.
Below is the actual photo posted on nearlynatural.com.
The cedar pine trees come in a variety of sizes, from three feet all the way to eight feet. This isn’t the first faux tree I have received from Nearly Natural, I absolutely love my 82″ Artificial Olive Tree. I highly recommend their faux plants and trees. Their name says it all.
