Friends, I am so excited to share a sneak peek of our new farmhouse kitchen sink from Sinkology! When we set out for new countertops, I knew I wanted to accompany them with an apron sink. I have been ogling and ogling over them for years, so it’s hard to believe this bodacious beauty is in MY kitchen!! We went with the Brooks II double bowl fireclay sink from Sinkology, and I had lots of opinions thrown my way regarding a double verses single bowl selection.
Big thank you to Sinkology for sponsoring this post. All opinions are 100% my own.
Shout out to JN Design and Construction for the quick and flawless installation of this beast.
Why the Double Bowl
Most were negative opinions in regards to a double bowl. I guess when you think farmhouse sink, a small tub comes to mind first. It was stated several times that I wouldn’t have enough room to wash large pans if I chose the double bowl. With our existing stainless steel double sink, I really never had any problems fitting pans/dishes and there isn’t anything grand about it. The other factor that lead to our decision was the placement of the existing garbage disposal. We chose the double bowl after careful consideration, and I am thrilled with what I see so far. Of course, it is non-functioning at the moment, but the double bowls are huge! The Brooks II measures 16″ x 15″ x 9″ for each bowl, which is quite a bit larger than our previous stainless steel sink.
Expect Minor Adjustments
The Brooks II double bowl is large and in charge. I hadn’t thought about the difference in depth when this project began, but most farmhouse sinks measure 10″ in depth. We aren’t changing out our existing cabinets, so some minor adjustments had to be made in order for it to fit! Luckily our small town is full of local talent so our project can proceed with no real issues.
Wide Selection To Choose From
When it comes to selection, Sinkology has something for everyone! They have several collections to choose from, and they back every sink with the Sinkology Everyday Promise. Whether your style is farmhouse, modern, or traditional, their products are created with you in mind! There is also a large selection of accessories available made from the finest raw materials that will keep your sinks looking superb year after year. I hope you give Sinkology consideration when choosing your next kitchen or bathroom sink.
All-In-One Kits
Another great quality of shopping Sinkology is the fact that they offer all-in-one kits! I decided to go with one and it included a new Pfister faucet, stainless steel bottom grid, an InSinkErator for existing garbage disposal, basket strainer, Sinkology Breeze Non-Scratch Scrubber, and a Fireclay CareIQ Kit. I love that Sinkology was able to provide one stop shopping!
