Hey friends! I’m stepping outside my comfort zone with this post by including you all as I attempt to update my wardrobe. I recently came across a fun new shop called, Cloth + Cabin, and I was super pumped to find that they offer both clothing and home decor! One stop shopping will always catch my attention. I purchased just a few items from both sides and am excited to share my review. Make sure to grab my affiliate link at the bottom of this post to instantly save 10%!
After receiving my first shipment, I couldn’t wait to introduce this online shop to you! Perhaps you are already a fan, and in that case, I am happy to join you! Owners, Meredith and Amy, completely won me over when they suggested throwing common “rules” to the curb and to just go with it!
Inside the Cabin
The Scalloped Cupcake Stand and Lauren Marble & Copper Tray were actually surprise gifts from my bestie for my birthday 😀 She asked me what I wanted, and I told her anything from Cloth + Cabin. I figured this would be a good test run of their shop 😉 Not only did I adore the items she sent, I quickly made my first purchase that same week!
The photo below shows both items in my kitchen nook. I always think it’s super helpful to see items styled, not just featured. I have the larger of the two cupcake stands, and the marble tray will no doubt travel around in my kitchen because it’s just too cute to stay put! The marble board is heavy, so keep that in mind if you plan on hanging it 😉
My first purchase included the five items you see next from both sides of Cloth + Cabin.
First thing I want to mention is that I am a hat snob. I have a smaller head, and am super picky with style and fit. I’m happy to report that the Exclusive Home Girl Cap met my expectations 😀
Here is a photo of my recent bedroom refresh featuring the Medallion Clock. I haven’t styled the Mint Colander yet, but that’s only because it’s been in the dishwasher more than anywhere else!
Outside My Comfort Zone
Here’s where the stepping outside my comfort zone comes in with the next 2 photos. If I’m being honest, I could be a poster child for the show, ‘What Not to Wear’. Yoga pants (cropped or full length) and a crew neck describe me on most days. I’m definitely that person that has full intentions of clothes shopping and comes home with new throw pillows instead, which could still be the case with this shop, lol!
Subscribing to Stitch Fix has been good for me. It had been 3 months since receiving my last box, and I received one from there and Cloth + Cabin on the same day. I ventured into a try-on session via Instagram stories that turned out to be fun!
This jacket, The Flynn Slicker, is from Cloth + Cabin and I la la la love it!! First of all, I loved that it was army green. It’s a dark neutral fave of mine and pairs wonderfully with my favorite color 😀
I ordered a small, and it is plenty roomy, so keep that in mind when ordering. I love the draw string waste and overall length of the jacket. When purchasing jackets/cardigans, I stick to mid length due to a long torso. The fabric is 100% polyester and has a hood in the back. In my book this is the perfect fall jacket <3
Perfectly blush and detailed perfection
The Claire Dress is perfect for date night! It was love at first site, and who doesn’t adore attire that hides the ‘mom tummy’! The fabric is 100% Rayon and I am wearing a small. I love the lace detailing and bell sleeves, and the fact that it’s an easy transition into fall. My favorite dresses are those that can be worn to both a casual or more dressy event, and I think this dress meets both criteria.
So there ya have it, my first Cloth + Cabin review! I am a huge fan! So much so that I signed up to be an affiliate, so I’ll be able to offer you discounts! If you have any questions about any of the items, please don’t hesitate in reaching out! I’ll share my affiliate link below to save 10%.
