Hello and welcome! Thank you so much for joining my friends and I in a Spring Inspiration Blog Hop. I have been making a few subtle Spring changes and shared a few already, so I thought it would be helpful to combine them all in one post with product sources.
Subtle Spring Changes
The art of layering is a design concept I am drawn to more and more, and have begun to incorporate throughout the house. Efforts taken to stack textures can enhance a more cozy, unique space. Layering can intimidate those who crave a more simplistic look, but I believe it can be achieved without looking cluttered.
Same, But Different
Our bed received a small facelift. Hints of blush and grey still linger as the main color scheme, but I switched out the bedding for a softer hue from Potterybarn, and added more wood tones. The first piece I was excited to incorporate for Spring was this hand crafted bed table from thegulleyfarmhouse.com. I adore the height and natural wood stain. Wood candlesticks in a trio on my nightstand are just a few of the gorgeous treasures I recently grabbed from Ruby Jewel’s Antiques and Gifts.
My friends over at Krumpet’s Home Decor have added so many new signs for spring, and I just knew a small grouping would pair perfectly together in a gallery display on the wood wall.

The bed linens I chose were once again linen, and I’m sure you can tell by the wrinkles 😉 Linen is definitely a fabric I gravitate to time and time again even though it’s so high maintenance. It exudes the French cottage style I so adore.
A Refreshing Change All Around
Softer hues in our master allowed for a small change up in Lexi’s room by incorporating our former duvet set. I finally finished painting the trim in here and simply love the bolder layers framed with white. The Tribal print pillow is from the new spring collection at Indigo Tangerine Shop.
Lauren’s room underwent a major transformation last year when I brightened her room up with light grey paint, painted the trim, and created a highlight wall with Stikwood. You can read all about that amazing product here.
You may recognize more items that used to congregate in our master. The wall art formerly staged with my pink chairs has found a home in here now. Textures, earth inspired elements, painted furniture, and a mix of metals have created a unique and cozy retreat after months away at college.
“Just Be You”
I recently purchased this sweet reminder for Mikayla’s room, “Just Be You” from startathomedecor.com. You’ll find that I am a big fan of Brooke’s unique word art. I also added ‘Spring’ to our small entry.
Thank you for joining me for a small tour of the refreshing changes going on over here for Spring. Our kitchen recently obtained a small update too. You can read all about what a huge difference this small update made here.
