You guys!! We have a NEW kitchen light from Lamps Plus, and we are in LOVE!! We have had the same fluorescent light for almost 20 years, and it was nothing special. I never really paid attention to the previous light and the lack of charm it provided, because it just sort of blended in. I guess updating other spaces in our home led to considering attention to this spot, and we are thrilled with the result!
Do you die?!! Funny story on the delivery of this bad boy. Last weekend while binge watching Netflix, Glenn noticed a semi parked outside and asked me what I had ordered that would require such a grand delivery. I had NO idea, and he looked at me as if I were telling a fib. When I saw the delivery guy approaching with a clipboard in his hand, I was a bit nervous. He asked if I was Martha, and then proceeded to ask Glenn for help unloading the palette… WHAT THE HECK COULD THIS BE?!!
Our New Kitchen Light
It wasn’t that the light was super heavy, but the size allowed for the royal treatment <3 We needed a kitchen light that would cover atleast 25 inches, because that’s what we were used to. The Feiss Lennon from Lamps Plus measures 30 1/4, and looks even better than imagined.
We literally could not stop staring at it after installing it. My FIL even stopped mid sentence to state how much he loved what it added to this space 😀 Choosing a light for this space was a little overwhelming only due to the vast variety of options at Lamps Plus. This is actually the second light. My first choice ended up being way too small, and I even looked into masking the size by adding a metal decorative ceiling tile. I’m so glad we made the decision to send it back, because the Feiss Lennon was by far the best choice.
I chose the finish in oil rubbed bronze, because it compliments the chandeliers over the kitchen table and entryway. Here are the other choices for this particular ceiling light.
The Feiss Lennon comes in two size options, 20″ and 30 1/4″. The larger size we chose uses five (maximum 75 watt or equivalent A19 medium base bulbs) which provides the perfect amount of light in the kitchen.
