Don’t Worry, I Won’t Ask…
Happy New Year! First and foremost I want to wish you all blessings in the coming year. Don’t worry, I am not going to ask you if you have any new year’s resolutions, because I know the amount of weight that question can have, and frankly I tense up when someone asks me.If you are someone who sets goals and have your day planner mapped out for 2018… well then I am in awe of you!! I like to think that I am a planner too, but I have also learned to take my life one month at a time ( speaking from past experiences ). I am someone that tends to look at a list and think it all needs accomplished in the beginning, therefore; leaving more time at the end for…. for what? More projects? Well, yes, quite honestly. That philosophy has it’s advantages but it can also drive one into crazy, psycho mode ( ahem, cough cough ) and no one likes to be around THAT person.
Goals are important to set. I do agree with this concept, and I believe stating them out loud whether to another person or writing them publicly will keep you accountable. My 2018 goals are set a little high, but I personally desire that push. You have all been an intricate part to my success thus far as a blogger, and I cannot find words to thank you enough for your continued support. I look forward to sharing my accomplishments, and yes even failures with all of you this year.
A Look Back…
Without overwhelming you and I both, I will save spilling my top goals for the new year in another post 😉 2017 was a big year. On this day last year I was overwhelmed with all that would need accomplished by Lauren’s graduation. I started painting all the trim remember? Side note… I am feeling a bit rambly friends, so before I drag this post out any further here is a recap of my top 10 DIY posts in 2017 😀 Click the title to be taken to that post.

The corners of my mouth are turned up as I look back at 2017 in admiration and gratitude. Many opportunities passed my way, and with the overwhelming support and help from my husband, I am both honored and pleased to have accomplished some large projects. Inspiring you all is icing on the cake, and I can’t wait to share more in 2018. I couldn’t do this whole blog thing without your encouragement along the way, so please know I appreciate you all from the depths of my heart. I would love to hear about your accomplishments and goals for 2018. Feel free to share them in the comments, after all we are here to support each other <3
