Charming Christmas Porch with Birch Lane
Did you utilize the amazing temps this past week to get your outside Christmas lights up? I can’t remember the last time Mother Nature cooperated just in time for decking the halls! Last month I shared how I styled our front porch for fall in Part 1 of a fun project I collaborated on with Birch Lane, click here to visit. Today, I am back for Part 2 of “One Door, 3 Ways” sharing our Christmas porch.
I’ll admit I was nervous when I plunged forward in painting our front door coral this past spring. If you want to see the before and after, click here. My mind immediately drifted to thoughts of a Christmas porch, and how I would decorate around a pink door!
Not So Traditional
Even though I sprinkled Christmas red on the inside, I decided it wasn’t a must on the outside. I played heavy on soft Christmas greens and neutrals. The pink door settled right in, and once again takes center stage.
Birch Lane Decor
-
36″Green Pine Artificial Trees
-
Yukon Snow-Splashed Pre-Lit Garland
-
3 Piece Metal Bucket Set
-
Poinsettia Wreath – (Currently sold out)
I absolutely love the 36″ artificial trees, they fit perfectly into a standard size urn! Filling your pots with left over styrofoam peanuts is light and gives your trees something to sit on. They are adorned with silver jingle bells for added Christmas cheer.
This is the first year I placed any sort of garland around our front door, and I LOVE it!! I ordered two sets of this garland in order to drape it further than half way down the door on each side.
These buckets were a hit with my fall decor too, they are just fun to fill! I used fresh evergreen sprigs, pine cones, antlers, and birch logs.
Birch Lane has a beautiful selection of holiday wreaths. It’s no wonder this particular wreath sold out, it’s gorgeous!
I just love how it turned out! Decorating my front porch has never been more fun! Be sure to check out Birch Lane when purchasing your holiday decor, and let me know if you choose the same products as me or what you end up ordering!
