Welcome back friends, I hope you had a chance to visit Part 1 of my Cozy Christmas Tour that went live yesterday, but in case you missed it, click here. Today, I am thrilled to be joining another group of friends for more Christmas decorating inspo! If you made the visit over from Megan, Texas Sized Home, welcome ♥ Isn’t her home stunning? She gives me “built-in” envy!
I am excited to share how I decorated our master bedroom for the holidays. My theme for this year’s Christmas bedroom is Cozy Romantic.
Analytics Do Matter!
I loved our bedroom decked out for Christmas last year, and Pinterest did too 😀 The image below has appeared over 1,000,000 times on Pinterest since November 2016, and has been saved to over 22,000 boards! That image alone prompted thousands of visits to my website. I never paid too much attention to analytics, but constant notifications on behalf of this picture perked my interest, and they have changed when and how often I post. Click here to visit how I created our cozy lodge style bedroom in 2016.
Easy Change, Big Impact
Not only did I incorporate a softer color theme this year, I created a whole new look by simply re-arranging the furniture. Click here to see all the details.
Adding a seating area to our bedroom has been the best decision! This very spot is where Glenn and I catch up after he returns home at the end of the week. Touches of velvet, faux fur, and wool together with twinkly lights has opened up a cozy romantic space we long to gather.
For this year’s Christmas bedroom, I chose to scatter mini flocked trees throughout. Since receiving my new King of Christmas tree, I have developed quite an obsession for all things snow covered!
Isn’t this snowflake garland darling? You can find this and an entire fantasy of decor at Krumpet’s Home Decor.
I decided the best place for mistletoe was adorned from our headboard 😉 We all know the saying, “Always kiss me goodnight” so now there is no excuse!
This lumbar pillow is actually NOT what I originally intended. I ordered a blush faux fur one, and was utterly disappointed when it arrived. It was no where near the right color of pink, and the faux fur looked like that of a wild animal living in the desert 🙁 So, I went with what I already had, and the courdoroy still serves up a cozy vibe.
The greenery on the headboard is 4 stems I picked up in Hobby Lobby’s Christmas section. I almost looked into the real stuff, but I decided the possibility of being poked in the middle of the night wasn’t worth it.

Wall color is Tradewind by SW
Dreamy color combo
Give it up for pink and gray (enter applause) They go together as well as red and green 😀
I found these white velvet pillow covers on Amazon. They are super soft, and I like the soft contrast against the gray and pink <3
The golden hour is amazing in our bedroom, even with the bed covering 50% of the windows!
I LOVE the merino wool arm knit throw I recently splurged on. This table is actually part of a set of nesting tables from TJ Maxx, but the other pieces were damaged, so I ended up just getting one. I regret not purchasing another one even though damaged, so I may return hoping for a better deal 😉
My gallery wall is a work in progress, and not an easy one!! Thank GOD this wall is wood, and full of holes already!!
Notice anything different in this photo?
Look close. I had this post finished and scheduled to publish, and then we bought a new mattress this weekend, and because of the height difference my euro shams moved to the front! My back is so happy with our new purchase, and as an added bonus our bed doesn’t look like it’s sitting on the floor anymore! In fact, the new mattress is so much higher my hope chest can actually act as a bench which leaves room for decor 😀 It’s the little things 😉
Next, I invite you to tour the super chic home of my friend, Christina, CG Home Interiors. Wait till you see her DIY mud cloth ornaments!

I want to know how you made the beautiful ‘wall of wood’!! It’s gorgeous!!! xxoo Did you paint or are these panels sold anywhere? Thank you!! 😉
Hi, so sorry I am late responding! These are authentic barn boards from my granpa’s barn. I did a white wash over the top.
Hi! I absolutely love the duvet cover! I checked the links you shared… is the one you have the one from Etsy? And is it ashen gray or charcoal gray ? They might have come out with newer gray shades since you got yours
Hi, No, this duvet was the one from West Elm. I tried to include some other options that were similar. This is definitely lighter than a charcoal gray.
I absolutely adore your blog. It is flawless and you have an inconceivable composed work style. Well done on your composed work style: you ought to be so happy for yourself. I have a thing about gets also.
Christmas is coming soon, and when I shop for Christmas decorations with my mom, I find a very nice website from China with beautiful Christmas decorations and very cheap, I want to share with you http://rongyao.ebcoo.net/product-category/fashion-classic-creative-new-home-pendant-decoration/fashion-classic-creative-new-home-accessories/

Dreamy is the perfect word to describe this! You have such a knack for creating a perfect romantic and cozy space!
Awe Lindsey, thank you!!! This just makes my day <3
Loving the details! This has inspired me to add some height to our bed pillows — and to get started on that gallery wall! And also, #jumpyclaps for the 1M views on Pinterest!
Well, this just may be the best compliment!! Thank you!! I know you will rock the gallery wall, it will look awesome and so much better than an empty frame 😉
