Good evening everyone! Did you all survive the mosquitoes this weekend? Here I am, being a good sport, enveloping the next season and we couldn’t even be outside for more than 5 minutes without being almost eaten alive! Not to mention the ongoing rain and humidity, blech!!
Next question, how have you moms and teachers survived the first week of school? I am happy to say we all transitioned well over here, everyone seems to like their new class schedules and re-connecting with friends 🙂 Now if it would just cool off a teensy bit 😉
This week I am thrilled to share my friend, Rhonda of Hallstrom Home with you all. She has an amazing website www.hallstromhome.com where she shares everything from French inspired decor, luxury Belgium linens, and custom painted mirrors. She also shares recipes, diy, and home styling tips on her blog. She provides oodles of inspiration, so I am thrilled to be sharing her with you today.
She has recently transitioned her home from summer to fall, and does so in such a subtle way as to not push summer out the door, but also welcoming the inevitable. Click here to view her inspiring styling tips. Rhonda mentions that one of the easiest ways to transition into fall, is to incorporate the colors themselves, golds, oranges, coppers, and creams. She’s right, they add a warm and cozy atmosphere. I too have begun a slow merge into my fall decor. Nature is providing an easy transition with the beautiful flowers of summer turning all shades of fall. I mentioned my love for velvet pumpkins in my last post. Honestly, they are so beautiful in person. I am delighted to leave these gems out for several months.
Have you begun to bring the elements of fall into your decor? Maybe you aren’t ready, and that’s ok too. Changing things up is a past time of mine, so I am always ready for the next step early on. Hope you all have a good week!
