Good morning! I am so glad you are joining me again this week, I am so excited to feature a gal I have grown closer to purely over social media. Amy Detrick, better known as @tonalitydesigns in the Instagram world, not only holds a swoon worthy photo feed, but inspires me weekly with her simple DIY crafts. Can we just talk about her gift of photography as well?! She captures the very essence of beauty in each photo. She doesn’t just have a blog, she is the founder and lead design composer behind Tonality Designs! I am in awe of her talent and creativity. I am just sharing a small glimpse into what she offers, but I’m afraid you may get lost in her website. I’m certain you will add her to your favorite list!
This Tequila Sunrise pic is mouth watering! Our national holiday is right around the corner, so if you are hosting the celebration, this is a refreshing drink to offer. I’ll share the link to the recipe below.
When I first began this journey of blogging, I had no idea what to expect, none at all. Sure, I had done research on actual website design and have actually built and managed 5 websites to date. I followed a few blogs before starting my own last September, but truly had no idea the outlet it would provide and a step into an entirely new world. The most rewarding part has been the relationships formed these last 9 months with those I have not even had the chance to meet in person…yet.
Today, I am happy to share a direct link to Amy’s blog, where you will find her Tequila Sunrise recipe and some super fun and super easy DIY crafts. She just posted a simple tutorial and FREE appliqué template for these adorable reversible Wine Bottle Bags! Don’t just stop at these, venture into her archives, you may find just what you are looking for 😉 .
I had loads of fun and quite possibly got out of hand with the metallic paint this weekend, but once you start, it’s hard to quit! A few weeks back, Amy posted how she purchased some metallic paint and spruced up her mason jar lids. I couldn’t get over how cute they were. Well, let me tell you, finding the metallic paint proved to be a bit of a challenge, so allow me to save you the search… it’s at Hobby Lobby 🙂 . Enjoy my photos as well as hers and hop on over to Amy’s blog and be inspired! And for goodness sake, if you venture into any of these crafts, share them with me!! I love hearing from you!
So cute right? I love the look of displaying dried fruits and veggies, nuts, popcorn, etc. in clear jars, but this paint puts a fresh spin on the look all together. There are all sorts of colors and finishes in the Krylon spray paint. I used the Foil Metallic Copper and Metallic Rose Gold.
Rose gold quickly became my new favorite shade of pink last summer, I just love the combination of pale pink mixed in with gold tones. I think it’s funny that my iphone matches completely!
